Hey guys, I've always used the 4 strokes in the game, up until recently I havent really liked the 2 strokes at all, but the last few times I've played I seem to have gotten the settings with them pretty good and now I prefer them. But what I have noticed is that they dont seem to get over jumps quite as easily as the 4 strokes do, I seem to be casing some of the bigger jumps in sx and not quite making some of the jumps straight out of corners that I usually would on the 4 strokes. I've tried playing with acceleration/ top speed and soft/hard suspension but still dont have it just right. Am I crazy or has anyone else noticed this too? and does anyone have any tips that i could try to fix this?

I don't think you can do much about coming up short on a 2-stroke. I go back and forth some nights and if I'm riding good and hitting everthing I can really feel the lack of guts, especially indoors. Some tracks, like Prairie Valley, flow really good on a 2-stroke and if you catch a smooth run you can exploit the lightness of the bike and beat the 450s with good lines.  I've tried tuning them from one extreme to the other and nothing seems to make a significant improvement, at least for me. Some guys can pull it off though, Mx_Craxy smoked us all on a 250 last night on Prairie Valley, then got outpowered by the big bikes on Moto448. So even if you're fast, I think the 2-strokes just can't quite hang with the thumpers. The best thing to do is get everyone in the room to ride a 250, then they're a blast.

yeah nothing I have done seems to have made much of a difference which sucks coz I do prefer them to the 4 strokes but I would have to say I'm probably faster on the 4 strokes although I do think I wreck more on the them.

Yeah, they're kinda stuck in an in-between spot. I like them too though.

Kinda fast, yeah.  But you're still not making that little uphill out of the straightaway on Headshake Hills.

You don't and can't. I asked you.  Every lap you'd say "I can make that on my 450." I'm calling you out.  Do it tonight. I'll sit right there at the top and watch you.

yeah i've definately noticed the wide, sweeping lines work better on the 2 strokes, they dont really have enough guts to take the inside lines, in sx anyways

I have nothing but heartbreak if I ride 250 smoker indoors. Hell I think I can do better on a 125 most times.

i like the way they handle indoors but yeah its hard, against people who are average i can still win on one, but someone decent and its a struggle. just sucks coz i dont wanna have to use a 450 all the time, but they are noticably better so dont really have a choice.
