I think it was in the original unleashed that there was a ghost setting where you could basically race a transparet version of yourself doing your best lap. Its nothing new, but i think u guys should bring it back, would really help w/ laptimes. Thanks.

it's patented and we're trying to figure out who owns the patent now that Midway is no longer around. It's one of the most enforced patents out there.

Damn I wish I was a lawyer and could break this code, here is the patent if anyone is curious, I think they are some loop holes in it though because so many games use it in some fashion or another http://www.everypatent.com/comp/pat555-5555.html

Nope. It was renewed shortly before Midway went under and was expanded upon to make it harder to work around. Warner Brothers bought and took over a lot of the Midway assets so I wouldn't be suprised if we find out they have it. If they do I wouldn't want to take a chance of trying to circumvent that group, not only out of respect for them but they're a pretty big entity.

We never take anything off the table early on in development. We're always researching ways to improve the experience for the player. Does that answer your question?
