Im all for competitive spirit, but why must the majority of the players online insist on trying to take me out at every chance? I mean, I consider myself to be decently good at the game. I love tearin it up with riders who carry the same speed i do, nothin beats a good bar bangin battle, but why do you purposely whip towards me midair, or deliberately slam me over the berm to take me down? I could understand it in a tournament situation, but why on casual online play? Isn't battling, and having fun the point? I try to ride clean when possible, unless a total ****r presents himself ;) What do you guys think about it?

Are you talking to all these dudes on the headset or are they silent randoms in Playlist games? Chances are it's just lag and no one even knows they hit you because they're too busy yelling about how you hit them. The only way to know is to play with your buddies and communicate about the race.

No headsets, and no, not talking about lag. Im talkingabout deliberately taking others out. Its very obvious when someone has ill intentions for you on the track :)

Really, I don't mind dealing with a few dirty riders in the game. They're generally slower anyway which is the reason they feel they need to take people out to win. I just stay away from them, wait for them to take themselves out, get past them and check out. On the other hand, the one thing I do not appreciate are the people that scrub under you or cut into your line and start incessantly yelling at you over the mic that you "took them out". Unless I'm taking you out race after race, you have no reason to complain. On the occasion when I do take someone out at a deciding moment in the race, such as on the last lap for the lead, I do feel sorry and let them pass me back up to show that it was my fault. The beginning of the race is a different story. There's so many riders going every which way, very close to each other, it's nearly impossible to control exactly where you go if you come into contact with one of them. I'm sorry if I take you out at that point, but my theory is this: If you really think you are a better racer than me, you should have no problem catching back up.

I cant stand the people that dont hold there line and deliberately take you out. Alot of the time I take it easy into the first corner on the start and let everyone take each other out.

I agree completely with both of you (17 and 174) Just got out of a game where I was taken midair from a guy whipping into me very purposely...

I too on PS3 have been taken out a few times myself, and i do appreciate the " careful" riders that try there hardest not to run in to you.Its true want Zen says that if you are on the mic, you can talk and normally tell if some takes you out on purpose
