ps3 internet issues

Does everyone have online game connection issues??? I seem to spend as much time being booted from online games as I do actually playing in them.
and also when ever I invite or get invited to private sessions I/we never get to play each other because it says all players have left or somthing like that

Try changing some things, I don't know what will help but if you can try another router? try wireless, try hardwired.
A little story with mine...got a differnt router, when I went to connect it I decided that I would take my internet line (phone line) & plug it straight into the router.
Before that I had that line going into a power surge bar, then from there to my router.
While I had that incoming line hooked straight into my router I had nothing but trouble, much like you describe. I was about to take the router back one day, but first I decided to try my incoming line through the power surge bar again....the game worked much better....I could race online again......again all I did was put my incoming internet line through a power surge bar and it helped lots.
But I still had bad lag with a lot of my friends online. My router was supplied by my isp so after that second one I took it back & bought my own router. All is good now, the game does have some issues but on the other hand it is still the most fun you can have in front of a TV.

dan the bumpkin i was having that same problem... went out and installed a new router.... EVERYTHING is good to go for me... i was getting kicked off and everytime when i would log on to my ps3 a window would pop up on my pc saying there is an IP conflicting with the network. Everyone in my hosue couldnt use the net.. installed the new router like i said im happy and so is everyone else in my house hold. Try installing a new router. If u have a decent internet provider they should give ya one at a very minimal cost. got mine for like 15 brand new.. COMCAST! Was using a linksys and now im on a netgear router.
