Untamed: Audio problems on qualifier start

I recently played Untamed again and was reminded of the most annoying problem I've always had with it. I was always surprised that I couldn't find any info about anybody else having the same problem, so I thought I'd ask here for once. The problem happens only when deciding to qualify for a race. At the very beginning, with the riders lined up at the gates and revving their engines, the sound becomes extremely loud, about two or three times as loud as any other sound in the game, which is not only annoying but also made me fear for the health of my speakers the first few times around. As soon as the bikes are off, the volume goes back to normal. Most interestingly, the exact same situation at the start of the actual races does not have this problem! Engines are revving, but at a normal volume. At first I just always muted the sound before a qualifier, paused as soon as the race was on, and turned the volume back up again. Soon that became too cumbersome though, so I just chose to skip qualifiers. I am playing on a European PS3 systems and have my sound hooked up to my 5.1 home cinema amplifier through optical S/PDIF. Also, Untamed is the only game to ever have given me sound problems on my PS3. I always wondered why no one else seems to have complained about this bug ever. It can't be that I'm the only one to ever choose to qualify for the races, can it? Anyone else ever experienced this strange behaviour? Cheers
