does it matter like which shox u use, or what pipe u use, or what tires u use? their all diff prices so im confused

I just buy the most expensive. Makes me feel like I'm getting the best at least. lol Not sure if it makes a diff or not. I would just pick what I liked, because if you look at the accel, top speed, slippery sticky, all that stuff it stays the same on all brands of parts, etc.
