Turning & Leaning

I can't seem to figure it out, so I was wondering other people have to say about it.
Is it ever best to use just one joystick while turning a corner? I don't know if I should always be using both, and if so, when should I be using just one?
Something else with turning and leaning has been bothering me too. When you're on a flat corner with no berm or rut to hold you, is it like real life where you want to lean the bike in to the corner while leaning the other way with your body?
Thanks for any help : )

You got the right idea. Weight the outside peg!! This is usually more important on offcamber and flat corners. It doesn't have to be 100% weight either. It can be a bit of each stick. So going around the corner after the finish @ Lost Meadow, you'd have the left stick to the left... and right stick to the right. In supercross you'd want to lean the rider with the corner direction since they are tighter corners and you're trying to corner faster vs keep your momentum.
It's something you need to experiment with. Every corner is different. Just like MX. I could tell you until i'm blue in the face how to do one corner... the completely change everything I say on the next corner. Just don't be really aggressive with the leaning of the rider unless you know the corner can handle it. That's probably the best advice I can give about cornering.
