Braaap, Braap! Nope, I’m not smelling coffee, but I am smelling race gas this Monday morning! I just got done pounding out a couple of laps on MX vs ATV Reflex to get me fired up for this final edition of 2009 Monday Morning Coffee. With the release of Reflex behind us, and the Holidays directly in front of us, I’m running a bit low on fuel for the regular Monday feature. Don’t worry, this site and the updates aren’t going away, but we’ll be slowing down for the rest of the year to relieve some thumb pump.

A lot of you guys have been helping us dig into issues with Reflex, and we wanted to ensure you we are working hard to look into each and every item you guys find. We will be evaluating these items and looking into a patch as we holeshot into the New Year.

Check out this awesome video put together by Mxer721 called “The Rise of Reflex.” We at Rainbow really enjoyed watching this well put together piece! Nice work Mxer721! Have cool screenshots or videos you’ve taken? Post them up in the forums so we can check them out!

Random game tip time. Want to take a cool screenshot of your rider looking at something special? Click down the right stick and whatever direction you move the stick in while it’s clicked will move your rider’s head.

Do you spend your time racing online, banging bars with your buddies with split screen, or working through the MotoCareer most? Cast your vote and let us know in the new
poll.

Having troubles clearing jumps out of corners in Supercross? Have you tried seat bouncing? Here is how:
When you exit the corner, let off the right Reflex stick so your rider is in a neutral attack position.
As you reach the base of the take off, pull the rider’s weight straight back by pulling down on the right Reflex stick.
Hold the rider’s weight back until the front wheel is leaving the lip of the take off and let off the right Reflex stick allowing your rider to reset back to the center attack position again - keep the gas on for a little more distance but watch the height on your front end or you'll loop out.

It’s as easy as that to get a bit of extra height and distance to clear the technical triples into rhythm sections in Supercross!

Well, that’s all for Monday Morning Coffee. It’s been a fun ride, and I look forward to mixing it up with you guys on the gate and on the forums. Time for me to bail out and head to a meeting, happy roosting!

Oh wait! Speaking of bailing out, did you know that you can bail off your MX or ATV at anytime? Click down both joysticks and both front bumpers at the same time and your rider will eject from the ride!

Alright everyone, have a great holiday season and a happy New Year! Take care of your thumbs and make sure you are letting your blisters get plenty of rest!
