Is there any more info about the career mode in Reflex? I bought the other MX vs ATV games just to ride with bikes and sometimes have fun on an ATV but i don't really like to ride a truck or buggy, so i don't really like the career mode in Untamed, will be there a normal career mode for just bikes in Reflex? Would be pretty cool if you start as amateur on a 250 and climb you way up to the 450 proffesional class and just national races with 15 laps and 20 laps supercross main events. PKMX

This is what I've always hoped would happen in a MX vs ATV game. Hopefully Reflex is going to have a decent career mode!

I agree. In career mode, motocross should have a timer for example 30 minutes and 2 laps. the minutes can be adjusted by the player because some people might not want to ride 30 minutes. For supercross the player should be able to do the same but just for the amount of laps. I always thought the 3 or 5 lap events were way too short, if you get a bad start it's going to be a chore to get through the field in the very limited time. I find i preform much better when given at least 10 laps. it gives time to find a nice rhythm

Yea i agree, and also you wouldn't use the terrain deformation to the fullest in an 5 lap main event. All we can do is hope for a good career mode! :D

Great ideas guys, I must say that I agree with you. I've never really been into ATV's or truck/buggy racing and actually HAVING to race the truck/buggy's to progress through the game is something i'd rather not have to do. Personally I'd prefer them to drop the buggy's and trucks and just concentrate on bikes.

Yea, actually i kinda hate the trucks and buggy's.. i only buy the game for the bikes and to sometimes mess around in an ATV, Truck or Buggy.

You trumped my thread :( I think they throw the buggies and trucks (...and quads...) in there to sell the game to the masses. So if it is helping them make money then I am all for it, however, if its not doing much for their profits then I think they should ditch the gimmicks and focus on the motocross portion of the game.

I think mx and atv atract the most buyers, I think the buggies etc are for the people browsing in the stores.. "ooh hey look you can ride all kinds of stuff, lets buy it.." it looks much cooler on the box cover to have 5 vehicles instead of 2. I ride bikes 99% of the time the other 1% is quad... the only time i touched a buggy etc in untamed was in career mode.

I would understand if the game's name were "OFFROAD VEHICLESS...", but with the tittle "MX vs ATV" I don't understand why I have to drive cars for complete the game... Im agree with you in the career mode...I had a MX game, I thought that it was "MX Superfly" in which I start in a 250 in the east, without any sponsor and gear. But I progressed and the sponsor and gear were coming bit by bit. Finally I was in 450...very nice game. I hope Reflex will impress me

I agree with you guys. And same thing for Freestyle... To be able to do it in a career mode is a really good thing, because some of us love it, but to be obligated to do it is boring (in my opinion). Keep the choice open would be better I think. In Untamed, you're obligated to do the whole thing to complete the career mode. Compared with Grid, for example, you can go on in your career without complete all races.
