that just happened to me for the second time about two weeks ago, before i sent mine to microsoft it was still under warranty took about a month and a half to get it back. But when it happened again a few weeks ago it wasnt under warranty anymore so woulda had to wait that long and pay like a hundred bucks. Theres a bunch of videos on how to fix it but i dont trust my self haha, so i typed in xbox fix or xbox repair and found a bunch of people around me that would fix it for like 40 bucks and just brought it to the guy and he fixed it in like 2 hours and its been good since

How old is your xbox? What my cousin did was bought an arcade and put his old xbox back in the box and took it back to the store :)

go register it on xbox.com and see if u can get it fixed for free ...only takes about a week nowadays to get it back

screw xbox.get a ps3. they're actually reliable and online is free. :p

Have you tried the 'towel trick"? It might or might not work. Here's a link to a Youtube vid on how to do it

i did that the other day and it worked wrd you would think that would **** up the xbox by over heating it.
