Sessio no longer available?

Why is there no straight answer anywhere on why some of us can't join a private session? I have a ps3 wireless on a new belkin router getting 100% connection NAT type 2 dl speed 8.6 ul speed 2.0. I have no problems playing in a public room or playing any other online feature in any other game. Why the hell can't I connect in a private session. Sounds like a lot of other people are pissed off about this as well. This feature is important to me because I'd like to race with some of the online organized racing out there rather than racing one or two people at a time (another issue in itself). How do I get this to work? And don't tell me that there is only a "handful" of people having this problem because I've seen numerous post about this all over the net. i'm not very computer savvy which is why I'm playing this on a ps3 an not a PC. This should be plug-and-play and not brain damage to get to work. I was planning on pre-ordering Alive but I have decided to wait to see what kind of issues there will be first. If there is issues with online game play I will NOT be purchasing Alive. This is because the track record of online support for these games are horrible. Off to ride my real bike. I don't get error messages when I call my buddies to go ride. Peace
